EB008 Eberbach Large Orbital Shaker E6145.00

Eberbach’s E6145.00 large capacity Variable-Speed Orbital Shakers are available with many options and accessories including optional integrated load cell and biochemical sensors for use with single-use bioprocess bags and containers. The E6145.00 Large Capacity Orbital Shakers are designed for rotary swirling action and used for bioprocessing, cell culturing, aeration in fermentations, and various other chemical mixing procedures. The E6145.00 Large Capacity Orbital Shakers comes standard with a powder-coated exterior finish (stainless steel exterior finish, and cGMP suitable models are available), the E6145.00 is designed to handle larger load capacities (unit can accommodate loads up to 150 lbs).

The orbital motion of the E6145.00 ensures efficient liquid mixing, particle suspension, and aeration. The E6145.00 allows high oxygen transfer rates with low shear forces not seen with other bioreactors which use propellers or impellers. The E6145.00 reduces stress on cells thanks to the swirling action of the shaker. This motion is particularly suitable for chromatography slurry preparation and cell cultivation applications. The E6145.00 uses Eberbach’s unique balanced bearing plates for a long-lasting smooth operation and repeatable motion with accurate control of the orbital speed and time duration.

When used with optional biochemical sensors, the E6145.00 is ideal for scale-up fermentation, cultivation, and bio-processing applications. Like all Eberbach Shakers, these are simple to use and maintain. The eccentric drive is counterbalanced to assure smooth acceleration and minimal bearing wear. The E6145.00 has a factory-set uniform 1.0” diameter orbit to ensure uniform agitation to all containers (other strokes are available upon request).

The E6145.00 controller has a digital tachometer along with a digital countdown timer (HMI option is available). The desired rate of rotation is adjusted from the speed control pad on the front panel and speed is monitored via a tachometer. The digital countdown timer can be selected for timed operation or the unit can be used for constant operation. Standard Data export is available by USB export to CSV file, other data transfer and machine integration are available optionally. The E6145.00 is rated for continuous operation.
